We loved puzzling out the clues and each one of us was able to contribute something to solve the puzzles. This activity was a great way to explore the city and we spent four hours on the treasure hunt, with leisurely stops for lunch, coffee and ice cream.

The game is designed for adults and curious kids aged 8 and up.
Younger ones are welcome though you may have to help by interpreting the clues and Captain Bess' pirate speak.
We’re a family of four with a 13 year old and a 11 year old. Mum was map reader, dad reminded kids about clues, and kids were hunting for clues.”
As a family with children ages 6 & 8 and friends visiting for the weekend it was enjoyed by everyone. The clues were all very varied and enjoyable to solve and the children were able to join in.
Don’t worry, if you get stuck you can ask for a hint and Bess will get you on your way!
We make sure no-one ever gets completely stuck.
If it's patchy rain, you can spend more time in the pub breaks or stop elsewhere on the route: the game’s flexible.
If it's really bad on one day, you can either switch which day you play, or even start one day and finish the next.
