The Easter holidays are here but it feels like the kids have only just gone back!
You don’t want another two weeks of being stuck indoors looking at screens the whole time.
With the restrictions in place, there’s not much open and there aren’t many options.
Thank goodness the weather’s improving! And the longer evenings means it’s a lot nicer being outdoors now.
But there’s a lot more to Chester than just the same old parks.
Now’s a great time to get back into the city centre, before all the summer staycations arrive and it gets too busy.
Treasure Hunt Chester is a great way to reconnect with the city.
It’s completely outdoors and you can stay away from other people. Everything’s on your phones and you don’t have to touch anything.
There’s no time limit so you can take your time and make a full day of it. Take a picnic and go at your own pace.
It’ll keep the kids out of mischief for a good few hours and they’ll be worn out after rushing around looking for clues.
You’ll have fun puzzling over cryptic clues and following treasure maps.
The game’s designed for grown-ups - so you’ll enjoy it - and it’s suitable for kids aged 8 and up.
You’ll need to work together to help them with the cryptic clues.
The whole route is pushchair friendly.
From 29th March we’re allowed to meet another household outdoors.
How about getting together with another family and making a day of it?
Get the kids outdoors this Easter with Treasure Hunt Chester.
“We loved puzzling out the clues and each one of us was able to contribute something to solve the puzzles. This activity was a great way to explore the city and we spent four hours on the treasure hunt, with leisurely stops for lunch, coffee and ice cream.”
